Four schools from the Eastern Indiana Athletic Conference have the chance to advance in the IHSAA football playoffs tonight in sectional semifinal play.
Franklin County (7-3) will try to turn the tables on East Central (8-2) in a Class 4A Sectional 23 matchup in St.Leon. EC beat the visiting Wildcats, 44-24, in Week 4.
The Trojans are rated No. 7 in both the Associated Press and Indiana Football Coaches Association polls. FC is rated 14th in the IFCA poll. Tonight’s winner will play either Seymour (7-3) or Jennings County (1-9) for the Sectional 23 title.

Rushville (4-6) entertains Greensburg (7-3, No. 16 AP) for the chance to play for the Class 3A Sectional 30 championship. The Pirates blanked the Lions, 28-0, on Oct. 28.
Lawrenceburg (9-1, No. 8 IFCA, No. 13 AP) plays Indian Creek (6-4) in tonight’s other Sectional 30 semifinal.
Pendleton Heights (3-7), which eliminated Connersville last week (31-7), plays at Mt. Vernon (Fortville) (7-3), and Delta (6-4) visits Greenfield-Central (6-4) in 4A Sectional 22 semifinal action.
In Class A Sectional 46 semifinal games, Hagerstown (6-4) hosts Knightstown (3-7) and Tri (6-4) plays at Indianapolis Lutheran (7-3, No. 13). All games start at 7 p.m.
