The 41st-annual IHSAA girls basketball tournament is in full swing, meaning the boys schedule is somewhat flip-flopped.
A nearly full slate of games will be played tonight, only a handful of contests are on Friday night’s schedule and multiple games will take place Saturday afternoon.
The Connersville Spartans won’t hit the court again until 1:30 p.m. Saturday when Centerville clashes with CHS in the Bowl.
Connersville is 13-5 after dropping a pair of games last weekend. The Bulldogs lost to Winchester, 53-50, Wednesday night, falling to 3-11.
Three games tonight feature matchups between Eastern Indiana Athletic Conference teams. Currently, Connersville leads the EIAC with a perfect 4-0 record. Greensburg is 4-1, Franklin County is 3-1 and Rushville is 3-2.
Tonight, the Pirates, 10-5 overall, play at Rushville (5-11), East Central (7-7, 1-1) hosts Lawrenceburg (9-7, 1-3) and South Dearborn (1-15, 0-4) plays at Batesville (3-12, 0-4). Franklin County (9-6) hosts North Decatur (11-5) in non-conference play.
